Create a design for the portfolio website - the design should be created using Photoshop or Illustrator:
- The design should include: home page, portfolio page, contact page and about page.
- The width of the website should be at least 780px. The height of the website should be at least 500px.
- The text in the design of the website can be lorem ipsum.
- The website should include a logo at the top of the page, if you don’t have a logo you can use any image as a placeholder. The logo should be placed at the same location for all pages.
- The site should include a navigation bar at the top of the page with links to each of the 4 pages of the site.
- The website’s navigation bar should be placed in the same location for all pages.
- Home page should include a place holder (image) for a flash item with a minimum size of 300x300 pixels. The home page design should also leave space for welcome text.
- The portfolio page should include a sub-navigation for the different portfolio sections (photography, illustration, packaging, etc). A minimum 3 portfolio sections are required.
- Each portfolio section should have a navigation bar for navigating between the portfolio items of the current portfolio section.
- Each portfolio item should have an image and text description (lorem ipsum text can be used for the design).
- About page should have your resume (lorem ipsum text can be used instead) and an image.
- The contact page should have your e-mail address and an image.
- Email the design to niv@sdwebclass.com before 12:00 PM on Wednesday 9.23.2008.
- The design should be emailed in the form of 4 jpg files: one for home page, one for portfolio page, one for about page and one for contact page.

Defining nameservers for a Domain Name:
1. Log in to your account.
2. Click Domains in the left navigation bar.
3. Click the "Advanced Details" link for your domain name.
4. Under Nameservers, click the manage link.
5. Choose "I host my domains with another provider" option.
6. type the nameservers you received from your hosting company under Nameserver 1 and Nameserver 2.
7. Click the OK button.
8. The new nameserver will be assigned to your domain name within 24 to 48 hours.
Week 13

Week 14

Complete the flash item for the portfolio website.
Instructions for submitting the final project
The due date for submitting the final project is December 17, 2009 by 9:00 PM.
The final project should be uploaded to SDSU server in a folder named final-portfolio-website inside your home folder.
The final project should include all images, HTML, CSS and flash files that you include in your project (including the FLA file for the flash item)
In addition to uploading the website to SDSU server you should also send an e-mail with your final project URL to niv@sdwebclass.com. The website should be fully functional under this URL.
Your website should include all the items from the original design (see instructions from week 3), the Flash placeholder should be replaced with your final portfolio Flash item.
The portfolio section of the website should include at least 3 categories, each category should have at least 2 portfolio items
